Obedience Champ Show

Last weekend saw a large number of people and dogs at our Normanby grounds for our annual November Obedience Champ Show. Of course, the weather had to turn to custard, after all the lovely weather we'd been having and are having again now! Typical!

And yes, we have Ken doing a spot of pole-dancing for us!

The Hub

A few weeks ago the South Taranaki District Council put on a Club Expo day at the new TSB Hub. A small number of HDTA members were there doing demos for the public most of the day. Some obedience  was showcased, some flygility and the rest of the time we ran our dogs around a small agility course. Some members of the public also had a go at running a few of our dogs around the course....with some interesting results! By the end of the day we were all exhausted , even the inexhaustible dogs!
